In my Corsa, I decided to take a sharp turn on a roundabout in third gear with my foot down on the acceleletor. And guess what, the wheels span. But i kept it in control...just. I was only doing between 20-30mph. Just thought i would clear that up anyway.
Ok it was pretty hard, but this is one of the reasons that made the game such a success.
So come Mr manufacturer, it'll only take just one to say, OK damage our cars, then I think the rest will follow suit.
> GT3 has bad handling if you think about it, even with the most gripping tyres availible every corner taken a bit too sharp causes you to skid, I'm sorry but cars do not skid that easily. work on the friction for gt4!!!!!!!!!!!
Cars do slide like that, you're not pushing your real car hard enough. Buy a viper and trackday it sometime.
I'll definately come with yers!
:D
Anyway, the cornering on a mini and a fast car, say the Viper on GT3 is far diferent. The cornering all depends on what wheel drive the car is, how powerful the engine is, and how fast you enter the corner. I found it very realistic. No matter how good your tires are, if you enter a corner too fast, you are going to have understeer.
The way you turn a corner is GT3 is to slow down, brake and accelerate a the same time but it's just too sensitive on the friction, MSR did it better although GT3 is still a damn fine game.
