hi all,
don't know if anyone else is interested, but there's a new album out called "Boy Playground" which is an album of dance music programmed using Gameboy software and sounds. i got my copy yesterday and it's excellent.

anyone into their chip music or wanting a misty-eyed trip down the 8-bit path should add it to their collection :)

also, http://www.8bitpeoples.com have got a LOAD of similar stuff for free mp3 download, and their christmas album is pretty damn good too! :)

not played that for quite a while. AS soon as I get a bit of cash I'm getting a SNES. It certainly rates as one of my fave games of all time. I liked super mario all stars too.

I finished flashback I remember, one excellent game, although I can't for the life of me remember any of the story. I'll get that too when I get a SNES I think, although I think it was better on the megadrive.

When it first came out, I used to watch that demo of another world over and over. Y'know, the bit where he starts the experiment during the thunderstorm, and his whole lab gets sent to ...... another world. then you had to run away from that lion type thing.

prince of persia - that takes me back. running along at full pelt, leaping for your life, and just managing to grab the very tip of an overhang, narrowly avoiding plummetting into a pit of spikes. great stuff.

I remember two similar games too - Another World and Flashback. Both very good.

Cannon fodder? Remember any crap ones? I remember prince of persia on the pc. Mysteriously, the game had this sort of sound made with buzzes of my computer. In fact despite my sound card screwed, it made some sort of sound effects anyway!

it begins with a K, has a Z in the middle, and ends with A.

VM, are those cheap copies of the music, or the actual music?
