The best games for 04 are halo2 and ninja gaiden and no one can say otherwise

My PREDICTIONS for best games of 2004 are:

Halo 2
Half Life 2
Doom 3
Fable
Ninja Gaiden
Conker
Kameo (going out on a limb with that one, but I think Rare still have it)
Deus Ex 2
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
#10 on the list will be something I haven't heard of.

Obviously that's just for Xbox?

Yeah as it was in the Xbox forum. On all platforms a fair few of them stay as Half Life 2, Deus Ex 2, Doom 3, Splinter Cell 2 and Ninja Gaiden are all going to be multiplatform. Halo 2 would stay anyway.

Conker might drop off the list as whilst I think it will be brilliant it doesn't look to be doing much new. So for that I might replace it.

Kameo I think will surprise us and be excellent. Fable might not make the end of year list, we'll see. And obviously there is the elusive #10, which when on all formats could be anything.

In short that was my Xbox top ten for 2004. But I see 6 or 7 of them being on there for the all formats. Doom 3 and Half Life 2 will likely be better on PC due to the extra power. As will Deus Ex.

Deus Ex does look incredible. In terms of FPS, I am hotly anticipating the following (order = most wanted to least wanted)...

1. Half Life 2
2. Deus Ex 2
3. Metroid Prime 2
4. Geist
5. Halo 2
6. Doom 3

I can see Doom 3 turning out out to be the pick of the bunch when it comes to pure FPS.

Notorious biggle's predictions are 100% right I hate to admit it but it says exactly the same thing in OXM and xboxnation and their pretty much never wrong

Halo 2 is the only which people can be pretty sure about. The rest could turn out anyway going by past projects from the major challengers. Half Life 2, Doom 3, Resident Evil 4, Metal Gear: Twin Snakes, Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth, Far Cry and Rome Total War will

they just keep delaying half-life2 but there is 1 thing im sure of it's that it will come out on xbox first not on pc and I didnt make this up
