If it hasn't been released yet then:
a) how do you know it is / is going to be the most popular Xbox Live game ever?
b) how do you know it's fantastic?
Stop. Look. Listen. Type. Don't get ripped by people who are cleverer than you.

Amped 2 is better than 1080 Avalanche. It just is. Most ratings I've seen in any review have had it higher. I never really like the SSX series, although it has the highest Gamespot ratings of them all from the readers.

Well, given that the first one is astounding and the best game of this generation.

What on earth have you been reading?
I can think of numerous magazines which have rated Amped 2 lower than both 1080 Avalanche and SSX 3. Having played all three, I can say I truly agree. Amped 2 has it's nice touches, but is mainly dull - but SSX 3 and 1080 Avalanche are both as good as each other but in different ways.
But I was also talking about personal experience, you know, owning both. I've never been an SSX fan so I never bothered buying it. But having borrowed it, it is a big improvement.
Amped 2 rules though.
Just doesn't "get" me.
