Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Yep, you have to lap Trial Mountain in les the 1 minute 56 in a standard MX-5.
Trial Mountain! One of my least favourite courses (mainly as I just did 80 or so laps today in an endurance race).
Its all about exit speed on most of the corners. The tunnel at the beginning needs a good exit speed through the canyon style area, and you need good speed out of all the corners later on, especially the one at the end, leading up to the chicane.
The best way to do all the tests is to watch them, then just keep doing it yourself, for hours if necessary, until you do it. It always happens eventually (though I`m beginning to doubt that on Complex String in Arcade mode time attack).

I just spent 45 minutes downloading a movie from IGN. It was meant to show me some Run Like Hell footage, but instead it tried to scare me by reseting the computer. All conversations terminated, and also all movies lost. Doh. Waste of time from home, I`ll have to wait until I get back to Uni.
Trial Mountain I think. I'll go check for definate though.
I too like the look of Herdy Gerdy, though I`d like to see some decent gampeplay as well.

It's the sort of game that every nintendo fan bangs on about, but never takes any notice of when it isn't made by Nintendo. Shame really, but who cares, I just can't wait to get my hands on Herdy Gerdy, in the mean time, anyone got any tips on how to do the MX-5 challenge in the Special Licence on GT3?? I'm always about a second over the time.

Its still so damn good ain`t it! I keep going back and messing with the guards. I never bother going to the end though anymore, as that sort of goes the same way everytime. Instead I spend hours foraging :-)
