Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Is Obi-Wan still coming to PS2? I think that was more lightsaber orientated. If not, then maybe the online game will allow lightsabers. That has the potential to be the best game of all time.

yup, it would.

Power Battles was mostly hard because of the hard to aim jumps such as on the coruscant level. With a decent camera it could have been alright.

As for the Phantom Moose game, that certainly could have been improved, but I just love anything Star Wars, so I still liked it!

Does sound a little strange, but I`m sure they`ll have that sorted after a bit of testing, and hopefully in time for the released version.

Anything that makes MGS2 look less good has got to be amazing, so it sounds like a game to look out for. I have a demo on my PSM2 disc, so I`ll watch that again tonight. That trailer has the line "Some things are worse than death", and its probably right.

It certainly does! Also, IGN said recently that the voices had been greatly improved. Compared to voice overs in most horror games they were superb, and really added to the atmosphere, which sounded really good!

What i really would like is a star wars game that is good using the light sabers, that would be great. I got Jedi Power battles but that game was insainly hard and the episode 1 game was just crap.

Yeh, I think I remember that now. It was just one of those that you have to rely on your ghost image to improve. Each corner you try something new, and eventually you put all the good ones together and hey presto.. you have completed it.

Run like hell is the best looking game I have ever seen, other than the shadows, how can someone stand against a wall and cast a shadow away from the wall?? The character animation and textures put MGS2 almost to shame, hopefully the final released version will have an imporvement in the details, but other than the little niggly things, it looks like a fairly solid and decent game.

Try Star Wars Starfighter for PS2. Its excellent. If you don`t like that then try Super Bombad Racing. Its silly, and a little bit too cute, but its really good fun too. I`ve had loads of fun with friends, and my brother and others in multiplayer matches, races, and championships.

They`re both great.

I have it for the PC and it amazing, although my favourite PC game is Operation Flashpoint. Seen a few shots on Ps1 and it does not look too bad.

I'll watch the run like hell movies and tell you what they are like, it's definately worth having a cable modem, especially since Telewest and sony are trialling the PS2 on their system.

Most of the games I consider good quality, but at friends houses I`ve played some pretty poor N64 titles.

The Worst Game You Have Played In Your Life???

The worst game i ever played was that i payed a lot for was Fifa 2001, i wasted £40 on that piece of..... Anyway i did not like it to say the least. Other wise it would be rebel assault (star wars) on the pc. Utter Crap, and i am yet to find a decent star wars game.
