No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
Did your gf have to sign a new contract for the move. If yes, isn't there a cancellation period when she can tell them she changed her mind
Or, why, if she has moved it under her old contract can she not cancel it anyway.
Or, what difference does it make if it is in her name or yours?
I haven't dealt with sky for nigh on two years now.

That's SKY for you no interest in customer service just taking the money, I will give the engineering coming to mine on Saturday a good kick.
Interesting what you said about BT broadband, when I enquired about their BB service when ordering my phone line, the lady asked why would I want BT BB when there are other providers out there, at least they are honest. Just waiting for my BT number to register on their site and then I can order from pipex.
I thought if he set up one of these accounts he could set the outgoing SMTP to whatever they give him while setting the incoming to Freeola.
I gave him the number for BT BB tech and they told him they do not do email and he needs to get the info from the current domain host.
I'm not really too fussed about sorting this out except for the fact that it is such a time stealer.

Errr .... yeah they do, it's just you have to pay for the service to use their SMTP server ... I had this problem with a friend of mine who got BT BB and I couldn't work out why they couldn't send email and yet it would recieve. Called BT and they said you have to pay additionally to access thier servers, absolutely disgusting if you ask me!

Tempting.
I've solved his problem. HE DOESN'T HAVE A FLAMMING EMAIL ADDRESS AT HOME!
He said (eventually) 'yes, I have a bt broadband address' to which I replied that's not possible as bt broadband do not have email services.

That sounds ... like a good idea :)
Morning all, thanks Shadow for the warning, trouble is it's too late now, hey ho ... can't really have a go at my gf as she basically spent the day in tears yesterday ... think the stress and worry is starting to get to her :|
More stuff keeps turning up, had 4 packages today, 4 packages yesterday and our mattress will be arriving on Friday.
and then go sock him one.
It also doesn't help that no matter how many times I tell him something he never remembers it. According to him his email system, which I am not familiar with, has 3 BT broadband options, 1 demon and 1 freeola. The only one I am positive is working is the freeola one.
He's just put BT broadband in and it is driving ME up the wall.

Know the feeling exactly. Trying to work blind is one of the things I hate about user support. Its even worse if they are using a slightly different OS.
