Yes, it`s been done before.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.

Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

That's so nice of Neo. Taking time out of his busy schedule to come in here and shout the score at me :D

Morning.

Yup i stuck to SW, much more enjoyable i must admit. Only got to watch the first one mind, ah well least there are other days in the week to watch the rest. Jive you'll like em on the new sound sound system you've got, nice meaty engine noises, lots of bass!
Although bit dissapointed that there was no THX logo fanfare at the beginning to shake the house down :(

Morning,

Oh I so hope you all got to watch SW and not the football. Absolutely diabolical. Not sure that I'm impressed with the new Liverpool game ploy of not bothering to play for the first 45 minutes and not even stringing together 3 decent passes. It was nice of Man Utd to keep our goal difference down though 'cos we never looked like we were going to score.

I don't think I'm looking forward to any games in the near future (in answer to the post below this). I never know what's coming out.

Sleepy, well as long as your happy that XP will run on that machine then you go for it girl :)

Not sure whether an ultimatum would work, she'll probably just say both can go .... grrr ... I'll still get my way though :)

Got to say, yesterdays game was appaling and apolgies to anyone who watched it, we were awful as were Newcastle, a draw would have been a fair result .... but hey when you've got a ref who can't make a wall go back ten yards and make them stick then what are you gonna do? :|

Ooo battle of Neo v Sleepy tonight - may well have to watch that instead of SW .... if it turns up ....

Morning,

Frag, will check out that store next time I'm in the town centre. Thanks.

Jive, Ugh. Slept on it and decided to upgrade the operating system to XP. Just got very sentimental when I saw the 98 operating system but it will have to go. XP has a brilliant little wizard to set up a network so I shouldn't have any problems.

Give the gf an ultimation - star wars or football. If its the football you can laugh at Neo but not me tomorrow :)

Morning

Sleepy, never used Oracle before so I can't really help you out on whether to install on 98 or XP - as for the bit about the connection ... well you lost me at the start :P

Frag, hopefully my Star Wars box set will appear on the doorstep today, the gf has threatend to hide it when I told her I'd be watching it all evening :(

Morning all! Woohoo star wars monday! *drool*

Off into town in sec to pick it up, but still contemplating whether to asck off the aft and watch them back to back.

This one's for sleepy too, was in town on saturday, and found a fantastic, used n new little computer/console shop called playtime. It's in the merrion center, about 3 doors up from woolies. You can pick up some right bargins, managed to pick up Crisis Zone for 20 quid (35 with a gcon 2), not bad as it is selling for 40 in some shops! Check it out next time you're in Leeds.
