Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Good day today, took my printer to my local Express centre for a new one as something inside it went seriously wrong, never heard it make such a noise :$ Got a brand new one now! :D

Well I've got AVG free edition from grisoft.com , very good and err free, wouldn't trust anything like that to Mr Gates and Co!
Now completely changing the subject, does anyone know of any good DVD Cover design software? I'm trying to make an insert to go in a blank case for a wedding VCD I've been working on, wanted to get it finished today but Photoshop isn't doing what I want and the expert I need is currently on holiday ..... any ideas?

Can't remember off the top off my head, just some naff free one that mr gates recommended. Think it begins with a E, meah, will put norton on when i can find it again.
Hmm .. what AV software are you using?
Using Pro, but i think my anti-virus software seems to be taking all the umf out of the comp on loading up. Works fine after about 10 mins when everything has settled down.

Are you using Pro or Home edition? I've got Pro here and it's booting up in about the same time as SP1 and the only thing I can see different is a white progress bar like what used to appear on Win2k before the main splash screen ... still I'm pretty happy that it's all working ok :)

Turns out i dont need a scraper after all, the missuses fake plastic nails do the trick. I think i'll retract my statement about the uselessness.

You're lucky, i put it on mine, and now it is extremely slow at booting up, and seems to take much longer to do anything at all. Pesky windows!
Oooo I'm now on XP SP2 ... been using it for the last hour or so and have no problems so far .... *feels faint with surprise*
