The "Sony Games" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

Yeah building your PC seems like a good option, try a few local shops or even install free software for a quicker boost. Expanding the memory costs a bit but it helps alot, new processor would be a good option too. Theres a few threads about this in Websites,Freeoala etc.

No problem :^)

Well that all depends on whether doing homework will expand to doing more and more homework in the future, on different programs etc, net surfing to do research. Upgrading the memory may not be enough.
How much do you know about building PCs? If you do then you could put together a really cheap but pretty powerful PC for almost next to nothing.

I would suggest upgrading. If its only for school work or that sort of thing, increasing its memory will be cheaper than buying a whole new one.

I got a question for you dude. :D
My brother has my old, old PC and wants to either upgrade or get a new one. He uses it for school work and nothing else, so something a little faster and basic really.
Currently its a Packard Bell, with Pentium 1 and 256MB RAM or something, really really old and crap! lol
Would it be easier, faster and cheaper (Side-question - guess the advert?) to buy a new/second hand PC that'll do the business or upgrade his current hump of junk?
He ain't got much money to spend so what would you recommend?
Cheers dude
Was in the process of building one PC and a colleague walks in with a laptop and says "sort it out, it wont boot, I need it tomorrow" and then walks out ... ahem ... yeah like that attitude is gonna get it fixed eh!?
*carries on with other PC*
Afternoon SLH, how's you?
I was just about to click on your link when I noticed the URL it was going to take me too ... fortunately I'd already been on CNet.com and their download section and actually picked that program, absolutely acetastic piece of trial software, it's done exactly what I wanted it to do :)
Thanks for your post though.
