Why am I trying it out anyway?

The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.

Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.

As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)

Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.

inserted in the autoexec.bat file and XP is happy, although that doesn't mean it'll still install as I think this is gonna be a complete failure!

Ah...but you misunderstand, I have no OS installed so I can't get it to detect new hardware yet.

I need to get SmartDrive setup on my Bootdisk by editing the Autoexec.bat file and putting a line in there but I can't remember the command.

However, if you want to hear my overly-complicated explanation on how to get that thing working... listen up...






Plug it in, switch it on, install new hardware/software and drivers drivers... done.

Well if your teacher is unable to teach "proper" french then you should complain to the school. What's the point in being taught something that's wrong....plus when you get to take your exam you could end up failing because you've answered the way you've been taught and it's incorrect, in the eyes of the examination board!

Nearly finished the copy now, almost time to start the install :)

Wouldnt be too bad if I really wanted to learn it to go live in France or something. But I dont. And plus, the teacher doesnt know proper French anyway. We get these weird French people in sometimes and they make us stay behind after school and they speak in French to us. Always correcting the work our teacher gave us. So I always keep it simple and say "Oui" all the time. Better to agree with everything than to try and make it complicated and say crap.

I really do pity you doing French, god I hated that at school, probably due to the teacher as she was old and boring and made the lessons rubbish.

Glad I never decided to take it as a main subject at the end.
