No, it won`t be as lond as the FOG version.
Why am I trying it out anyway?
The PS2 forum is a very interesting place to be, but it can also be a little quiet. I though perhaps if we had a topic with several hundred replies lurking at the top, things would look more popular.
Feel free to use the topic to talk about anything. Either the latest PS2 game, latest ideas for including some female star in a game etc... or even just the usual chat that happens all over.
As I expect this to fail, I`ve decided to spend a little while pushing up the replies. No spamming, just lots of nonsense :-)
Any help would be great, it`d be boring to have a whole topic with replies from only me.
I have just received a letter at work addressed for the company and for my attention. It is just plain creepy as it is a typed letter dd 11 July 2005 but it is similar to the emails you get stating 'I have 10 m USD to share with you'.

Must just be on the other side of the Pennines, it is nearly 80 Degrees in the office already. Just been up to IT for no reason whatsoever as they have Air Con.
The suns just begining to peak through now...ah well back to the thesis.
It's still quite cool up here in the North at the moment - at least it was when I drove to work. Boss is already back to his old self *sigh*, guess I'd better look busy.

That makes sense - the same applies for maths. I share an office with three other people. Two I can't talk to at all about maths really because they are in entirely different fields (both Numerical Analysis) and even the guy in the same area (Control Theory) is researching an area so far removed that any collaboration would require severe comprimises from both of us.
The databases courses in the computing deparment here (I think) are unavailable to maths students, so I'll likely remain clueless. Good to know you're finding it accessible though. Even if a course is rock hard, if you can find a starting thread, then things always unfold eventually.
Good luck getting the 2(i) though! I'll keep an ear out next year to see how you got on!

I wish mine was one of them.

For some strange reason the P/T students got their results very early. I start the second half of level 3 in September and because of a bad result (I knew I was going to get it, infact I was surprised I passed at all) I need to really get my act together on 1 of my last 2 modules to keep my profile high enough for a 2:1. Which is a bit of a swine as I sailed through level 2 but only now find I am struggling :(

You'd be surprised. As I study in an evening and not during the day the course is laid out for you and it is very generic.

I'll let you know in 12 months :D

Not sure about that. There are many different paths you can take when studying computing. Mine is more 'database' orientated then anything else.
