seeing as hardly any of you go into the dreamcast and sega forum i'm gonn'a repeat what i have said:

should i get:
1) a ps2 + a few games (about 400 quid)...from sr of course...and don't s**g it cos i know i will like it
2) a new desktop for 400 quid from hong kong :)
but check out the specs:

Panasonic 12x DVD
Lan Card
Sound Blaster Live
mouse, keyboard and speakers


the reason it is so cheap is cos there is no monitor and that stuff is cheap in hong kong....

True, but is the PS2 enough to keep you occupied?

Will you want to buy the X-BOX or game cube when they come out?

Another thing is that the PS2 is a gaming console only.

A PC you can do everything on.... I mean what are you using to chat on here with? Please dont say Dreamcast! :-)

A PS2 needs £300 spending on it every 5 years. A PC needs £100 spending on it every year, but the PS2 will still work if you don't decide to buy a PS3.

You need to drop a PS2 off a cliff to break it. The PC will do it all by itself.

Your PS2 only requires one operating system, whereas your PC will get through several in its lifetime.

PC is only two letters, PS2 is two letters AND a number!

Clearly superior.

A PC won't fit underneath your TV.
