"Region X help"

I have recently bought region X and a full RGB scart for my european PS2.....works a treat only the image is in Black and White when playing Region 1 DVD's!

According to the region X boffs this is because my TV is not NTSC compatible.....any of you good peeps out there no if there's a way round this apart from buying another TV?

yeah right, when the gamecube comes out with it's launch titles people will wonder mmm big X jumbo thing ooo free delivery, the nintendo entertainment system 4 but wait there's no big pikatu on it oh i'll wait till it gets one, a dreamcast for £50 with an excellent back catalogue or the PS2 with the shelves flooded with class titles especially with the next 2-3 months silent hill 2,devil may cry,mgs2 etc.

Fair enough, you don't like PS2 - best reserve judgment on GC until it's out though - just in case.

well i have tried the ps2, and i thought that it was lame, but that's just my opinion, if you like the ps2 then thats up to you, i don't care, i just don't like the ps2 and i think that the gamecube WILL rock, nuff said really...

There are several people on the forums who were 'anti' Sony - but once they've tried PS2, they've discovered it's not actually that bad. Okay, they may still prefer Nintendo but at least they had the balls to try it and the guts to admit they were wrong.

I've usually found the people who put the PS2 down are the same people that can't afford to buy one!!!
