Sony have announced they're stepping up the Cell chip production to start in EARLY 2005, as opposed to middle or late 2005.

Worldwide production of the Cell chip is estimated to be at 15,000 units a month. Which would mean that even if every Cell chip is put into a PS3, by the end of 2006 they'd still only be able to manufacture 360,000 of them.

There are 5 million PS2 owners in the UK, over 60 million PS2 owners worldwide. If you want a PS3? Join the queue.

Didn't know that, it's about now that companys will be planning their games for the launch.

I know that Timesplitters 4 will be on of the first games on it.
I know that there will be 3 different bundles.
I know its gonna be silver.
I know that the controller is the same shape as PS2 but with more buttons.
I know theres supposed to be an extra screen either on the actual console or on the controller.
I know alot of things.

*Dont say im lying cos im not, and dont bother asking me where i got this info from cos i aint gonna tell you ( unless you dance aroung your PC with a monkey on your head ).

I wish technology stopped evolving from here so that i can buy a console and not worry that an upgraded version will be released soon making my console *Out-Of-Date*.

If they fail to bring out an alternate controller for the third time in a row I'm going to be really mad.

I got seriouis about console gaming when the N64 came out. Anything earlier than the N64 pad feels dated. The placing of the nalogue sticks is annoying and other manufacturers have moved away from the dated placing used on the PS pads. The shoulder buttons aren't analogue or shaped in a cool trigger type way.

They're really annoying to play FPS games with (my favourite type of game) but good for beat 'em up (Not exactly my favourite type of game).

By today's standards they're poor. They were good when up against the 3DO, Jaguar and CDi, now they're just dated.
