Personally, I've got 2 memory cards, and I back up my most important games on the second one, just incase (who needs glitches when you've got younger brothers! :-D).
I had it with a few N64 games back in the day.

You won't want to come back to Zelda or ED for a while, but after a month you'll be able to breeze through the both of them with no hassle at all.
It's very disheartening to lose all that data - damn the fools for not having a built in hard drive!
I'm sure there's something in the Data Protection Act that should make these sorts of glitches illegal.
Is the screw-up on GC only?

Erm nope, the data protection act is about how information is shared and recorded.
Anyway I still think memory cards are best. My mates Xbox hard drive died on him - well it won't let him load or save to it - last weekend so he has to get a new console.
