i think chelsea made one of the best signings of the summer in petit. he is solid, Zendon is another class player with bags of pace. their midfield is pritty strong.

any seifer i gotta be going...check ya another time.

In my opinion, Chelsea are over rated, they aren't brilliant, they could finish in the top 3 but they won't be going for the title.

Arsenal aren't title challengers but they are almost guarranted (sp) 2nd place.... AGAIN!

yes true...but i dont believe Arsenal are true contendors as they have bought only average players this summer.

the real contendors will be Chelsea.

Even then Liverpool are not the only challengers for the title

they were lucky inthe cup and lucky today. thier luck will run out soon

It's not the possesion of the ball that counts, it's what you do with it that matters. Notice that even with 38% of the possesion, they still beat Man U!

I know that Liverpool had got less of the possesion in both of the Merseyside Derby's last season and still won both matches!

Liverpool play way too negative. i think liverpool only had about 38% of the ball today. they cant play like this all the time.

Liverpool managed to win 3 cup competitions and still came 3rd in the Premiership so I think that if any team can push the Champions League and the Premiership, it would be Liverpool.

The FA cup and the Worthington Cup are now on a back burner for Liverpool so I think that they will focus on the other 2 instead of these 2.

you may be right...i dunno if Ruud can be 100% after being out for soo long with that injury.

but we have not sold anyone( aprt from teddy). our squad is stronger than last season. Liverpool seem to playing the same old football from last season, just playing the game in thier own half. I dont think liverpool will be able to hack the champs league. and it will take a toll on thier premiership position.
