I wasn't degrading them. Every programmer has the potental to be a hacker - and besides, in theory, hackers are "good", and crackers are the "bad guys" - you see, hackers are meant to try to hack into systems everywhere, but then report the faults to the admin or whoever's in charge. They are not meant to alter the data files or programs.

Crackers, on the other hand, attempt to hack into system files and change the data. You see now?
