A great part of my memory of early youth is filled with the cartoons I used to watch. A couple of my favourites were (are) Hong Kong Phooey and Rhubard and Custard.

Anyone else care to share their favourites and remind me of any I've forgotten? I also like Magic Roundabout but that was an animation and not a cartoon.

I was shocked to notice when I grew older, that Phineas Fogg was actually a human and not a lion, or something. I worked it out from the side of a Tortillas packet.

His name was Transfer, being a master of disguise and all. They all had top class theme tunes around that time as well.

Eighty days around the world was class, I remember the evil Jackal with the glint in his eye - if that's not scary, what is?

A man who appreciates great cartoons. In cities of gold did they ever get to the city of gold?

Heres a list of the cartoons I used to watch
Bananaman He-man
Bertha Dungeons and dragons
Buttonmoon Rainbow
Batfink Thundercats
Bravestar Superted

There are loads more, probably missed out some of the best ones.

Also, Jamie and the Magic Torch, Ulysses 31, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, Dogtanian and the Three Muskahounds, Eighty Days Around the World, Droids, Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings, Mary Mungo and Midge, King Rollo, I could go on forever here....

Mumm-rah, it appears, was a bit of a dirty old sod. The outtakes I have reveal he likes to swear, loudly. There's a great outtakes where Lion-O goes:

Thunderc...
Thunder
Thunder
Thunder

And then breaks off because he went too high. Great.
