Ahhhh.....suh-weet!
Completed it on PSone.
Who cares?!! It's getting my Cube treatment.
Isn't it Phuzzy?!! Yes it is..... *look into my eyes.....* woooooooo!
Right, now TS is definatly on my way.... :)
Discuss your barely contained excitment.
I both love it and feel disappointed at the same time. The GC controller is not suited to the MGS2 game mechanics.. holding guards hostage without shooting them in the back is tricky without the pressure sensitive buttons. Also the analogue stick is not as smooth, harder to judge walk/run.
Still gutted about the music changing, and some major disappointments in the voice acting:
Naomi isn't english.
Mei-ling isn't chinese
"Shut up in there will ya?!" is not the same.
I actually think even Col. Campbell is a different actor.
But David Hayter as Solid Snake still rocks!!
To make up for this, the new cut-scenes are breathtaking, especially Psycho Mantis introduction.

Indeed. Best bits of MGS2 into the best MGS = Have 'it.

Heh! You don't know the half of it ;)
All I wanted from this remake was the extra Metal Gear Solid 2 features, improved visuals and a few more in-depth sections and by all accounts of what I have read and seen Silicon Knights have truly surpassed themselves once again.
As for Half Life 2, technically it will open its big data d*ck and it will urinate on all the competition this year. Metal Gear though is a personal fave and one game I caddany wait to get my hands on.
Good thing Half Life 2 is on a GAD.
Twin Snakes will be brilliant.
I like the first area, with the helicopter and the spotlight. That bit itself ruled.
Twin Snakes will rock, but Half-Life 2 will be the game of 2004.
