No, I am saying that with my TV being 100hz it automatically detects the refresh rate, not sure but it seems that way. As far as I am aware 60hz TV's are pretty difficult to get hold of these days, its either the standard 50hz or 100hz.

Are you saying that if I get a 100 HZ TV the games will play in 60 HZ even if the game itself doesn't include that option ?

All my other games throw up the option for 60hz because my TV supports 100hz so it detects it automatically. Metal Gear though just loads up and it says nothing in the manual about 60hz playback. All import games run in 60hz but to be honest I don't have a clue what Twin Snakes runs at, the smooth and responsive gameplay I get suggests it changes it automatically depending on what your TV can support.

Hey I'm going to buy a cube just to get this game, but I need your advice. Does the game have 60 hz mode or do I have to buy an import console ?

Finished my 2nd run through, with a Puma rating this time.

I'm now the number 1 fastest European on the Japan version, and the 8th fastest overall on normal settings... woohoo!

However there is still another hour to be shaved off of my clear time, according to the Japanese number 1 result...

That's part of the problem with it, although it is great... it feels totally like you're just playing through MGS again. More like a port than a remake. But why not... after the super loveliness of MGS2 it would probably grate to go back and play the original, so may as well have it at the same standard.

It's actually made me reassess MGS2 a lot, I think the Tanker section there was the best MGS we've ever seen. I absolutely cannot wait for Snake Eater.

My god those clear times.. 1 hour or so?!

I think it's a testimony to the games genius that I've already done it once, and I am planning to complete it another good few times.

Going by the clear code times on the Konami website, you should be able to finish Twin Snakes in around an hour and a half. Should be no problem squeezing that in! heheh...
