I would be myself. That was when the game was at its peak; now there is too much technology involved, and it has ruined the game. Check the Eidos site or a fansite for a patch if you want an update, though.

Im a bit confused at what you guys are saying, why is it gonna be crap, its gonna be made by the creators of CM4, isn't it?
Yea the next CM will suck and i can see alot of people going out to buy it thinking it's still the same great franchise. There's sure going to be some dissapointed and angry people after the release of that.

True. It took over 10 years to build up that database. And they are pros. I once emailed them about not including some Olympic championship results: not only did they call me a clown and say that these were unofficial, I was also informed of the 1896 result which I had failed to mention!

The real championship manager will be produced by si games still but will Be called FOOTBALL MANAGER 04/05 so don't be stupid and by the next champo because it will to be quite honest suck, as they have to make a whole engine and build a research team at eidos.

I dont know why but i saw Championship manager 4 on ebay for a fiver so i bidded for it and won. I didn't expect to win and im not sure whether i should have done it or not, i already have CM4 but the disc is very scratched and my mate has it.
Im just gonna let my cousin keep my old one and keep the new one for myself, that makes me feel better as i have made two people happy that way. (I like making people happy)
Oh and by the way, i went to the champonship manager site and you can download an update for CM4, does this update it to CM 03/04?

I don't think that we're going to see CM5 for quite a long time. CM3 was released in 1998, and we had to wait until 2003 for the next version after many years of updates.
Plus, CM5 will not be made by SI Games, seeing that they will no longer work with Eidos. Since they own all the stats, they are likely to produce it under a new name, possibly collaborating with Sega on it as the two have a strong link.
