i wouldnt call it dodgy. much more interesting and harder when you dont know any players in the game.

As opposed to knowing all the players you are gonna buy when you start a new game.

Apparently there is no limit... Which is dodgy, because by the end everyone will be random youngsters...

You can do that on 03/04 b4 u start the game.

As long as u dont play in full detail seasons can fly by on CM4 as well. I got through about 7 seasons with Man utd in a month. Thats at the same time as doing full time uni and part time job. Mind you, i was playing sometimes up to 4 am at night. Done 5 seasons with Roma as well.

CM is now deleted from my PC due to the fact it messes up some equation functions on microsoft Word for which i need for my maths/economics. No idea why this has happened but i guess CM uses alot of formulas and equations as in reality it is just a advancded spreadsheet. Rather annoyed by this. I may jsut buy a laptop for uni stuff cos i dont know how long i can go without CM but it has been a good few months.

Interesting. My Sheff wed file on cm01/02 spanned 80 seasons. I've yet to see anyone else go that far. anywhere close?

Its deleted now due to lack of HD space at the time (might have it on a CD somewhere as i transferred it from my OLD PC but no idea what i done with the CD) but some people on here will remember screen shots from it.

I'm planning on buying cm 02/03 for the xbox and seeing how many seasons i can do on that over the summer. Just that my xbox is gathering too much dust and i havnt actually played on it this year!

CM01/02 is the one I bought for myself, and the one I've stuck with.

No need to mess with the perfection.

CM4 is a decent enough game, yes, but there is one problem: It is filled with too much technology.

CM 01/02 was the last one in which you could get rid of attribute masking and complete games far quicker, even with all of the leagues running. Due to the fact that CM4 is so large, taking up so much space, and with the long amounts of time taken up with large amounts of news and 2D games, you have little time with all the loading and sitting around. CM 01/02 was fantastic in it simplicity.

Why is CM 01/02 your best Championship Manager?
CM4 is much better, isn't it?
I cant think of anything CM4 lacks of compared to CM 01/02, CM4 is perfecto.
