Got this today, 'tis brilliant.
So far I've got a big-faced dog called... Bigface, a cow called Rainbow, loads of milk and some 'cultivated land' watered.
I haven't played ti for long, about 15 minutes, but it really is amazing.

I dunno about the horse race. Try and figure stuff out for yourself rather than trying to cheat and get everything.
Your cow stops giving milk 40 days after it has a calf, and for 10 days before it has it's calf. And cows and bulls take 20 days to mature, I think.
I remember that I ate the first sharshark that I caught by accident and then when I found that they were worth 600G each I was so angry.
And I HATE MURREY SO VERY VERY VERY MUCH. I caught him stealing from me and I said "Alright!" because I thought then I would get to hit him because I was nice to him and he wouldn't be expecting it, but now he comes every so often and steals everything. So I gave him 100G through gritted teeth when he was begging, although really I want to smash his face in with a brick. But he still tried to steal from me, but I beat him, because I had already sold all my food - HA!
I'm anticipating that he will become filthy rich in the future, from his "family", who he's "too short to see" (?), and he will remember my kindness.
I actually tried to murder him with my hoe, but he just tried to take that, the mongrel.
I'm off to finish chapter one (I chose Celia by the way. Not that you would know by the way she acts round me)

Yes mine too! I bought a Brown cow and it wont give milk! And im in the second chapter and my normal cow (the one you get at the biginning) wont give milk eaither!
How do you get to the horse race? What level do you have to be in and where is it? I need help! I never knew they were horse races then I saw a cheat for it and now I want to know where it is! Someone PLEASE help me!!
I'd do the fodder thing more if it didn't take so bleeding long to do.

Sharsharks are pretty rare, I find the best place to catch them is at the very bottom of the river, just before it goes out to sea. So far I've caught 4 Sharshark in that spot.
I also found a pretty good way of making lots money; once you've made loads of fodder, put as much of it as you can in your Rucksack and then sell it to Van, he'll give you around 1000G if you have the maximum you can carry. It's easy money.

Any idea what time Nami's room is open?
To find out how many hearts each girl has you must go into there bedrooms etc.. for Muffy go into the BAR and there's a lamp (top left hand corner) press A near it and it shows you. Next Celia go into her bedroom, house on the farm with stairs go up them and go to her bed press A there and that tells you how many. Nami there same but her bedroom hardly ever open, it's upstairs in the INN. Hope that helps :)
Oh, and that Yeti that hangs around in winter? Scared the crap out of me.
