The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.
I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.
If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.
Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

Sucks about SEGA Racers, i had read people having that problem!

I've read a lot of messages and the problem seems to be that achievements keep locking themselves for no known reason. For some, it seems to be worse than others but there are some that do something unrelated to the achievement that has locked, like a simple race, and it just unlocked.
I guess it is just sheer luck in the end. :S
On a unrelated note, 55 points from Grid for me and the main career mode finished. Just got some miles to drive and online achievements to get but it is almost time to start a new game.

Mate I've tried everything - the thing with me is the ingame tracker shows every achievement as completed, so I literally have no idea what needs redoing (even though I've tried many with no luck)
The only thing that is messed up is the Ultimate Collection one which shows at 48/49.
I even bought that dodgy Metal Sonic DLC to see if it would help but predictably it did nothing, cost me 560 MS points as well *facepalm*

A few people have been having trouble with the last achievement on Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing.
From what I've seen, check the ingame achievement list and if some are still locked, redo them. Some people have got all the achievements on their account but not ingame.
If you haven't tried playing the game since you got the achievement, you might just want to enter a race if you have all the achievements ingame. Apparently, exiting the game and going back in and doing a race works.

Up to 78418
130 on Bioshock 2 after completing the multiplayer to get the full 1000 (actually not bad but will take 20hr+ of gameplay to get enough ADAM to reach level 40)
90 on Prison Break: The Conspiracy to get the 1000
Misc achievements on Just Cause 2, Perfect Dark, Resi 5 DLC and the Borderlands DLC make up the difference.
By the way, anyone get Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing and have a problem unlocking the final achievement? I got all the others, and the final 100pt achievement is a 'collect all other achievements' one and it didn't unlock! Left me on 900/1000 with no way of unlocking apart from playing the whole thing again!!

I've finished with Bionic Commando and The Saboteur, total points as follows:

And I got 15 points on the Live Arcade Games Room.
Thanks in advance to whoever updates my score. My total score has now broken 20,000 but I can't see me getting a further 5,000 points by September. I shall keep plugging away though.

I picked up a couple trophies last night, one on Heavy Rain and one on Battlefield.
Got some more i can grab easily by going through Campaign on BF but i enjoy online too much, so trying to get them first.
Splinter Cell should arrive soon and that will finally give me a game on the Xbox to go for Achievements lol

Okay, another 70 points to add to my total and that means I'm past halfway to my target. Hopefully I can keep my points total ticking over. Almost at 16,000 now.
I'll need to get an update done at some point. Kind of lost track of things whilst being away.
