Enter for in depth conversations on the living, breathing legends that is Feeder.

Anything from their early, grungy metal to their present upbeat / uplifting rock. They have contributed to Rock music things that other bands can only dreaming of. By writing their own lyrics and music, only doing live performences and playing their own instruments they put teeniebopper favourite's "S Club 7" in their place.

Having added numerous awards worldwide including "Greatest Heavy Metal Band Album of 1997" for their debut full album "Polythene."

Named the best Live band around, they overwhelm onlookers at festivals and concerts worldwide including in Japan, U.S.A, Germany, Italk, France, Spain and of course, The U.K.

No matter what mood, circumstance or emotional condition you're in, there's always a Feeder song to suit your situation. From the uplifting catchiness of Top 5 hit "Buck Rogers" to the moving and inspirational "Yesterday Went Too Soon."

Whether you like Rock, Pop, Metal, Indie, or Nu Metal, Feeder has a place in their Kingdom for you, and your dinner table is waiting for you to be uplifted by the bands amazing musical talent.

To summarise... God Save Feeder.

FEEDER AREN'T SELLOUTS!

LOOK AT THE ****** SIMILARITIES BETWEEN INSOMNIA AND BUCK ROGERS! YESTERDAY WENT TOO SOON AND SATELLITE NEWS! DESCEND AND STANDING ON THE EDGE! AND NO I'M NOT GRANT! I'M NOT TAKA! I'M NOT JON! I'M NOT ANYTHING TO DO WITH FEEDER! I just want you to see that Feeder have NOT sold out! They are NOT finished! And they HAVE still got amazing things to come from their talent!

I'm not denying there ARE other great bands out there, there are, I know there are, I love lots of other bands. Ash, Bl9ink 182, Guano Apes, Innercorse, Skindive, Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers, Coldplay, etc. All GREAT Bands! I'm just saying, I like Feeder better than them all, Feeder are my favourite band. I said at the start of this forum, I'm not going to bash anyone's opinion, so do me a favour, get a life, screw you, and respect my opinion!!!!!

On the contary Sean, you can convert me. But not if I convert you first. Ignore comparisons to Ash and the Stereophonics (two of the most boring bands currently in circulation). Go and listen to something new. Buy a cd with an interesting name. I got a cd called 'Where are my cannons that roar?', it turned out to be a Bosnian choir but what the heck it had a great title. Buy the Strokes album, they are a vastly better band than Feeder. If both bands were miraculously changed into brands of soft drink then the Strokes would be Coca-cola and Feeder would be a can of Iceland-own brand cola 4 years past its best-before.

Feeder have Sold out. They've traded in good songs circa YWTS for awful meaningless bilge that gets into the charts, ie Buck Rogers 7 Days in the Sun. Really nauseating songs that the good viewers of Kerrang TV channel keep in heavy rotation. In the words of Ben Folds, they're rocking the suburbs just like Jon Bon Jovi did. Except that he was talented. Now that is an insult to be reckoned with. When juxtaposed with Feeder that stagnant behemoth of kitsch hits, Jon Bon Jovi, becomes talented. I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to like Feeder anymore. Once you hear great bands there's no turning back.

Feeder are sell outs, you compare tunes like Buck Rodgers with tracks of their first album Polythene.

I think feeder ARE the best live band, they leave most other contentors behind in the dust and thoroughly deserved that award. A truely great band.

I know i cant convert you but i think you should reconsider calling them "sell outs" its so untrue they're music has allways been that way and have not changed it that much in ages, they've allways been a bit "pop"py. But they're also a lot of things, an all round good band is one of them.

I think SK is actually a member of Feeder. Either that or someone has hypnotised him to think Feeder are the greatest band in the world bar none.

SK, you are locked into your Stereo World, haha what a pun, and it's almost painful to see you neglecting the wealth of talent outside the realms of Feeder. This week alone was one of the best weeks for new music releases in living memory. Everything from Slipknot to the Strokes came out. I got the Strokes album and it has sat in my CD player since I got it. They are an exceptional band.

You're neglecting all this so you can revel in the former glory of Feeder. Mr. Neil's got a point, Feeder have SOLD OUT. Yep. If you look up sell out in the dictionary there'll be a big picture of Grant Nicholas's smiling face.

I don't know who else was on the Kerrang shortlist but Feeder winning a live award surprises me. I expect they were up against Muse, who are brilliant live, and maybe some of the random heavy metal that Kerrang so adores. I can't see why Feeder beat what must have been a competent short list. If you are judging Feeder's live performance in terms of Ash and Blink-182 then Feeder are god's gift to live music but if you've seen Radiohead, the Smashing Pumpkins, the beastie boys, at the drive-in, oasis in their hey-day, you just cannot put Feeder up there as a great live act.

Sorry SK you will never convert me. Or should I all you Grant?

Taka's Japanese. Great bloke. Jon's arguably the greatest to have a laugh with though. Grant's a great guy to talk to though.

True. Well said.

Ash are a great band to. I'm seeing them in December @either Birmingham Academy or Nottigham Rock City.

Don't really want to go onto other good bands, it's moving off of the subject of Feeder really.

OK misterhappy, just a had a couple of thoughts to stop you slagging of Grant's lyric writing skills. Buy/Download (If you have to) the following: "Bring It Home" (Found on one of the Turn singles), "Spill" (Swim Re-Surfaced album), and "Crash" (Polythene Album).
