"X-Boxes to to have a £150.00 price tag"

Okay, I just made that up...

(the PS2 train Simulator story threw me off for a bit :) )

But what if...

The X-Box were to be released before Christmas (say October) this year, with a price tag of 150.00 quid...

and to have a full compliment of games avalible at launch?

Would anyone here change their minds and pick up the box?

Would anyone take another look at the new machine?

Or would you stick with what you've got... keeping with the PS2 or waiting for the GC?

I would stick with my PS2 for the following reasons:

1) The Xbox has little appealing games.

2) It's Microsoft. I run a website called Microsoft Sucks. Go figure.

3) It crashed at E3. Badly.

4) It's way expensive.

5) It's a PC in a box. Not even a small one.

6) I'd have prefered it with a tower.

7) It's not really that much (if at all) better than my PS2.

8) I can only afford one console.

9) The PS2 rocks most mightilly.

10) Gran Turismo!!!

I would get the Xbox for the following reasons

1) I was given one.

2) I was forced to buy an Xbox at gun point (maybe).

3) I don't like games.

Oh yeah i've seen Abe's Exodus(or whatever its called) - i remember seing a feature on it - i was very impressed with the level of A.I.

It's a shame they scrapped it for the PS2, it's got some clever touches.

The only X-Box game i've seen is Obi-Wan. I was expecting more to be honest - the backgrounds were really nice but the characters weren't exactly next-level graphically.
Which is what it's supposed to be....

probably would get an x-box if it were £150, but truth is it aint gonna hapoen. The x-box is way to expensive to make. typical american product really.

Im gonna get a xbox, the games look mind blowing and I think microsoft wont be incompatent like sony.

Microsoft will want to impress so im expecting they will make the launch a big success. Hey, that rhymes.

It would depend entirely on the games.

Well almost entirely, I'd have to have a good hold of that pad first, I'm not sure I could comfortably play any games on it....
