Okay, I just made that up...

(the PS2 train Simulator story threw me off for a bit :) )

But what if...

The X-Box were to be released before Christmas (say October) this year, with a price tag of 150.00 quid...

and to have a full compliment of games avalible at launch?

Would anyone here change their minds and pick up the box?

Would anyone take another look at the new machine?

Or would you stick with what you've got... keeping with the PS2 or waiting for the GC?

Well, I've only got a DC and my PC at the moment. They should do me until next summer, when I'll think about getting a new console.

I'll have to have one for september 2002 as I go back to university and I'll need something to waste tme on! :-)

Seriously, I think that the PS2 isn't an option, it's between the 'cube and the XBox. My mate isn't sure which one he wants to get, so if I buy one, he may buy the other, so I'll be able to play on both and make my mind up.

Ha ha ha! Good-un! We havent forgotten about £30 mem cards...

I'm personally going to wait for at least a year after release of the X-Box, I'm sure the games will be good, and the hardware will be right, and the (expensive) launch will be flawless, but Windows and other MS applications have put me off MS for life, and the X-Box will have to prove to *me* that it doesnt need any patches, OS updates, upgrades, add-ons, etc.

(Also have to wait until I live in a bigger house)

I only wish I could claim credit for it, but someone else said it the other day, I think it may have been Meka or FM, I can't remember.

Maybe they don't appeal to you, but they may appeal to others......

2) It's Microsoft. I run a website

I bet you use Windows though....

3) It crashed at E3.

So did the PS2, and nearly EVERY console ever released. Ever.

4) It's way expensive.

Same price as PS2 at launch

5) It's a PC in a box. Not even

Didn't you write and article saying console size didn't matter?

6) I'd have prefered it with a tower.

Hmmmmm...

7) It's not

I seriously doubt that, but my tech knowledge isn't amazingly great.

8) I can only

Get a job :-)

Ah! If you fold up a bit of paper, and put it under the corner, it should stop that. I believe Sony are selling bits of paper that do just the job for about £14.99

10) Gran

M:SR is better, and a version of it is out on XBox.
