5/5 despite it's faults it's still an excellent racer.
gotta hand it to one of the letters
GT3 will propably get lots of stick for being like GT2 when nintendo update the same 10 year old game and everyone kisses it's bottom.
If anyone here sent that in PRAVO !!
One final point, you're absolutely right, Wookie Monster. I do recall calling you lot 'scum' and it is appalling. I do trully feel ashamed for saying such a thing and wish to apologise. However. I don't want the legion of Sony fans to pounce on me now. My opinion on Sony fans was wrong, but my opinion on GT3 is right.
GT3 is an accurate simulation.
Since (to the best of my knowledge) the laws of physics haven't changed in the last 2 years, how different do you want the two to be? If GT3 was any more different to GT2, it would be a worse game for it. I think I'll keep it the way it is, thanks.
> No, ResiFan, not 'PRAVO' to the person who sent that letter. When Nintendo update their games, it doesn't mean giving the graphics a flash work-over, like GT3.
Have you seen the game? Its incredible! I got my old GT2 out, and used my brother`s TV to put the two side by side and compare them. Oh my God! You wouldn`t believe the difference. Just because its a racer, it seems similar, but in fact it has more differences and improvements than most other sequels.
Infact, you're not telling the whole story
> are you ResiFan? Have you read Fat Sow's comments on the game today?
I read them. It didn`t take any time at all. I always miss out the bits that are trash, which as always seems to be the way with that stupid pig, meant missing it all. It was twoddle as usual.
> He described GT3 as GT2 with flashy graphics, the same cars (but less) and even some of the same tracks. If you own GT2, this game is appalling.
See the above for my feelings on the comparison of the two.
Oh, I`m sorry, since ridge racer was out on the PSone years and years ago, I take it we can`t have any racing games anymore, as they are so similar? GT3 is radically different.
I don't mind what machine/company people support, but to resort to name-calling is immature at best, pathetic at worst.
If he wants to be sensible about things, then I've no problem discussing things with him. Otherwise he can go take a running jump.
I don't read Digitiser - haven't since I was a kid - but if they tend to side with Nintendo, then he will obviously agree with their review.
Anyone who who refers to GT3 as 'appalling' compared to GT2 obviously doesn't know the history of the game, and it annoys me when people mouth off withoout knowing what they're talking about.
I read the Ninty forum (ignoring the trash talk from all sides as much as possible) because I'm hoping to get a Gamecube. To be honest, I don't follow things as closely as I do with Sony... I don't know all the ins-and-outs, so I refrain from posting nonsense in topics which I know little or nothing about. If only others were as considerate... :-)
I know there are idiot PlayStation owners too, and they deserve as much slapping as anyone... but there's very little anti-Nintendo/anti-Sega posting goes on in this Sony forum. The Nintendo forum is full of it, as mentioned by King Ninty himself, Meka Dragon a few weeks ago - and it does little to shake off the image that most Nintendo owners are, in fact, little kids.

Some people obviously don't know the entire story of GT3...

Which are?
> Tsk, you Sony-kiss-ass'ers are all the same.
Yes. We're nearly as bad as the Ninty butt-suckers.
'Infact, you're telling the whole story are you ResiFan?' with:
'Infact, you're NOT telling the whole story are you ResiFan?'
Also, you didn't mention all the faults that were mentioned in the review yesterday.
Tsk, you Sony-kiss-ass'ers are all the same.
