I reckoned those last shots were real - here is another batch of similar looking shots, this time grabbed from Nintendo Insider. There surely can be no way these can be fakes too..

Multiplayer is almost definate even if it is a fake - Retro have mentioned it in interviews many a time.

Agreed. Can't help but think they're just putting in multiplayer for multiplayer's sake. It doesn't need one, but Nintendo want something to compete with Halo 2.

I loved the first, but these shots are less than impressive. Seemingly nothing has changed. Don't get me wrong, I love the original, but simply putting together a deathmatch mode isn't much of an improvement. There seems to be no graphical updates whatsoever, and personally I think multiplayer would suck.

It's like multiplayer Mario. Wha?

All I know is that I was fighting a one man battle ealier this year declaring the game a dissapointment.

I got one person backing me up and the other 8 or so people repeatidly told me why it ruled.

I hadn't played enough of it, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and played it again recently.

I've now played a massive chunk of the game and fully retract my statement.

The game rules.

Not true, on release I read comments from tons of people saying how dull and unintresting they found it.

I thought the graphics were stunning, but game play wise I also found it dull and uninvolving. There were moments I loved, imparticular the first time I took the underwater root to those Ice Caves (that was simply stunning). But then there were so many dull and repetetive moments that I couldn't call it anything but just good.

No offence Tiltawhirl, but I too loved Metroid Prime.... are you sure you've actually played it? :p Most peiople I know who played it thought it was a superb game (which is quite something as most people I know are relative PS2 or XBox zealots).

If tyhese shots are real it would be nice, but we must also remember how much time is left before it comes out! They have MONTHS to make improvements...

A: I once found Prime underatted. I now do not. Metroid Prime is a purley fantastic game, and most people love it tilt and you know so.

B: Control system is unique to the game and fine.

C: Those shots are real as they are from Retro Studios plus they look real.

Oh, and I wouldn't worry about those screens. They look far too fake to be real. I couldn't see people having many problems making them.
