That's funny. I thought Metroid Prime was called Metroid Prime because the boss of the game was called Metroid Prime. And as far as anyone knows, this game isn't a direct sequel.. No more Tallon IV *sniff*.

Metroid Prime is now a series in itself, connected but ultimatly seperate from the traditional metroid games.
The basic concept behind the story has Samus on a mysterious planet torn in half, a world of light and darkness.
You travel between the light and dark parts of this world, and the gameplay dynamics will be affected by this.
And Samus will be hunted by an evil enemy (a Bounty Hunter of some sort?)
Why are they keeping the "Metroid Prime" bit in the title? Isn't Metroid Prime dead and gone, in a hot laser-ised fleshy mass of gooey bio-matter?

Exactly what I said. That there can't be a Samus Loogie, or something.
Is there defintately co-op? I thought there was only multi for Deathmatches, etc.
Co-op would ROCK.
Basically, multiplayer is bonus game - no story involved.
That's why we used to have multiple Joanna Dark's running around on the N64.
Also grappling and dodging based deathmatch would be brilliant, although how all this would work better in a first person view is beyond me? :-P
But lets be happy with what we're getting. :-)
On the other hand a grappeling, dodging, platforing, first person deathmatch sounds the dogs testicles to me.
> Yes, and playing with multiple different coloured Samus' is fine...
Well maybe she's been cloned, that sounds suitably workable in the Metroid universe.
Better than "Mirror World".. where Kooper Troopas and Goombas come after you :)
