am i the only person in the world that thinks the ps2 ISN'T the best consle in the world, it was so over hyped that everybody wanted to get one just so they could say they have one. im not saying its not good, because its not bad, i have tried one!! but there not half as good as most people make them out to be, reply to this post if you agree, also if you think im wrong, tell me why the ps2 is so good,

Just take a look at some of the quality games coming out for the PS2 in the next 6 months.
If you still think the PS2 is crap, then you're obviously jealous 'cause you ain't got one....
Or alternatively, just look at GT3 - What a game.

if we dont diss it for what it isnt then the next version will not improv as much. we gotta move forward
There are loads of people here who think the PS2's crap.
OK, it's not what Sony promised (yet) but it's still amazingly fantastic. Stop dissing it for what it isn't and admire it for what it is.

I'd like to but you can't argue with that.
I thought that what he said was perfectly reasonable.
He didn't say it was bad at all. He just said that it wasn't as good as Sony's hype said it would be.
And it isn't.
PS2 owners might love it but there's still no way it lived up to the hype.
Partly because the hype was impossible to live up to and partly because the PS2 wasn't quite as good as it should hae been.

Have you seen the quality of the graphics on the ps2 games, take this and the playability of the Playstions top titles and you have most of the ingredients for a top console that will have top software.
I have played a playstation 2 but i don't own one and don't know all that much about them, but from what i do know i can tell that it is an awesome console that will have an incredible future instore for all of it's fans.

I'm put off by the long waiting times and the small controllers....
