am i the only person in the world that thinks the ps2 ISN'T the best consle in the world, it was so over hyped that everybody wanted to get one just so they could say they have one. im not saying its not good, because its not bad, i have tried one!! but there not half as good as most people make them out to be, reply to this post if you agree, also if you think im wrong, tell me why the ps2 is so good,
thanx
From Monkey Ball, Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion (which is a ghost busting game, not a platformer) through to Donkey Kong racing (Racing through the Jungle on various animals instead of the unoriginal bunch of vehicles that all other racers use.).
Then there's probably a several more I don't know about it.
Devellopers love the Gamecube because it's so easy to make games for.
Most are PS quality with better graphics which isn't neccessarily a bad thing but it's hardly revolutionary.
Also the system is awkward to work with, preventing devellopers from giving it their best.
There are a other things too.
Ask Ant and Wookie. I've told them more then enough times :-)

So there's a fair few decent games on the horizon. Fair enough.
But it's still not half as great, original, or revolutionary as Sony had the public believing.
Nintendo has a new Controller and the PS2 hasnt and with the games that feel much like old PS games with better graphics (GT3 anyone) you can understand why we see it as a small leap rather than a huge one.
Not for atleast 6 months anyway...
But even then, there is absolutely no denying that Sony hyped it up and it didn't live up to the hype by a long shot.
It's not a total disaster though seeing as there have been a fair few decent games about.
I'm expecting most of them to be released on the Gamecube alongside the unique offerings from Rare and Nintendo.
That's my infallable logic. :-)
