Right. Now that i have your attention, Who reakons there is life on another planet and when do you think we will meet it? I reakon that the first life which is not of this world will be like a mirco organism somewhere. I'd say maby 2050. If however the first thing that we contact is more advances then id say around 2500. what do you all think?

I think that there was life before the big bang and that there was a very clever man or woman (possibly named God??)how had discovered this theory and tested this on a very large scale which caused all of this new life to happen. This explains itself if you watched Space last night

Precisely.

You see kids, God took a little bottle of hydrogen and a little bottle of oxygen, mixed it all together and the was a big bang!

Well sort of.

I think that the bang has been proved by the fact that everything is moving further away from each other, moving away from the center of the universe.

Hopefully it will keep moving out for a while before the Universes gravity pulls it all back in again for the big crunch :-)

Do you think that God created the big bang because there is still no proper explanation for the big bang?

That's what my Dad believes in. He is a Christian, and thinks that Evolution could be tied in with it.

Also, I don't take it word for word. I mean, the Big Bang may've happened-God might have created it.

I didn't see it. Although when that guy said, "Lets go back to the Big Bang," I felt a little annoyed-as it there are other theories too!

I'm a christian but I wouldn't take Genesis word for work if I was you.

That was simply what Jewish priests (the equivilant of modern scientists) thought when it was written.

I don't see why religion and evolution can't coincide...

Ant, if you are wrong what is your opinion on the programme Space that was on last night? Complete garbage or just the scientific religion spreading their belifes?

There's my theory.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, so I don't mind.

But you know even with chritian thinking, the world and life was NOT created in 6 days. In fact, according to the church, the 6 days are the 6 ages of the Earth's formation.

Just to get that straight... and don't argue it.. it's a church thing!
