Excellent!

Single player looks a hell of a lot more intresting than the previous game, none of that stupid story mode nonsense. Graphics are a hell of a lot better than the last game (probably down to it not getting a watered down release on the PS2), car models look excellent, not as good as PGR2 visually...but then what is?

Only tried out a couple of car classes so far as you have to unlock the rest, but it's looking superb so far. Excellent damage system as well, I can see lots of swearage on Live as you buckle some nerds car into the railing and watch as his front wheels drop off.

Fingers crossed you'll be able to race the big rigs against some of the smaller cars. 12 car pile-ups? ooooooooooooh baby!

Maybe because Toca and GT actually copy real maps just about perfectly? :P

And TOCA must have something different about it. I used to find Laguna Seca the most annoying track on GT... Yet so far it's my favourite on toca (other than rally tracks)

Yes. Tis incredibly fun. I'd bum it, but it doesn't have a hole big enough.

Yea I know what you mean about the tracks, I find these tracks are so well designed compared to the ones in PGR2. The track design in both Toca and GT3 is brilliant in comparison.

Yea the lighting effects are also very good, and racing around during a sunset with all the heavy shadows and stuff is just fantastic. Seriously, after playing this game very thoroughly now, I can honestly say it's the best racer I've ever played.

V8's are freaking mint. Haven't played the game for a while, I'm on the Indy cars I think.

I got it today and tis a brilliant game. Played the first season on single player, went for a blast on live, nobody spoke much and i got bored so i went back onto single player and completed the second season.

This must be THE first game since Sonic 2 that i'm fine with having to redo something all again because i made a stupid mistake. It hasn't irrittated me at all. Tis brilliant.

This is the first driving game i've bought since... Errm. TOCA 2 for the playstation actually and this rules muchly. It reminds me so much of GT2 in the tracks you race on, and the actual game, only it's graphics are superb, and playing it feels great.

Also the videos inbetween tracks where you talk to your manager are brilliant. Rather realistic. And the actual way the tracks themselves look reflecting the sunlight and everything. And the rally races.

*faints*

Tis a brilliant game.

Well if you don't really like racers then I doubt you'll like Toca very much. It's pretty much a serious racer as you have to work your way through your career, moving through the ranks. If you don't like serious racers then Toca isn't really for you.

I'm currently battling against my three main rivals in the knock out stages of some shark championship, if I get through I'll be into the top 6 drivers and I'll get a seat in some big F1 style championship.

I found PGR2 stunning. I don't normally like racers, epsecially ones that go into all serious racing, rather than normal/sports cars at high speeds. Would TOCA2 suit me?

I've gotten quite far into the game now, I'm on the GT Light series or something. I like the way that you build up rivalries with certain drivers throughout the races, it adds much more depth to the game.
