Sony
> have alot more third party support
> Square,Capcom,Eidos,EA,acclaim,Konami etc.
Resi fan made a fair statement so he deserves an explaning answer.
All of those (bar Square who would love to make games for Nintendo but Nintendo are stupidly telling them to sod off) are supporting the GC just as much as the PS2.
I hate to brake it to you but Capcom have actually said that they prefer the Cube over the station.
What you said was perfectly correct in the N64 vs PS situation but things have changed. Why?
The N64 was hard to make games for. The PS was easy.
Devellopers prefered the Playstation. Fortunately, Nintendo make first class games so this didn't spell the end of the N64.
Now the PS2 is incredibly difficult to make games for (10 times harder than the N64) while the Cube is nice and develloper friendly (more so than the playstation).
I forsee the Gamecube with better support this time and with Sony unable to make revolutionary games themself, this could cause the PS2 to fall.
Do you see?
Just because you are old enough to smoke doesent mean you cant be taken over youre mothers knee!!!
You say mmwwaaa im not a kid but it souns like to me your having some sort of tantrum behind the screen just like my 16 year old KID brother, grow up man/boy whatever!!
If you are, you're trully mistaken.
Sony are the physical form of devils. Like Microsoft, they are only in this business for one reason - money (not that Nintendo don't like the stuff).
Also, I suggest you stop quoting me. My words of wisdom are too great for a 16-year-old/5-year-old to handle.
as most of you have noticed, im not fully for sonys consoles, as there are very games that grab my attention from either of them. i did own a playstation but i found that there were very few games that i actually liked...the ones i can remember was ISS pro 98, disruptor, time crisis, darkstalkers and maybe the odd one here and there. im not a fanatical person that would go out and destroy all of the units (like a friend of mine), but i merely wait until something grabs my attention from the PS2....so far i like GT3...and im interested in the re-hash of ghouls and ghosts that capcom are doing for it, the name escapes me righ now.........oh yes Maximo: ghosts to glory, thats the one...apart from that nothing really
> slik, u may be 16 (which is still a kid in my books) but, dammit, u
> act like you're 5! sort yourself out, KID!
I am NOT a F**king KID goddammit! oh and by the way anyone who think's the playstation is better than the n64 is a kid in my books! and in my view YOUR the KID around here!!!
slik !_!
if the PS2 is so good then why did Sony send the PS2 dev kits out with Jap maulas to US and European games conpanies??......they didnt even bother to translate the manuals for the non jap developers.....and even the jap developers took 2 years to figure out how to anti- alias the graphics for the dam thing!!! (anit-alias = jagged lines on edges of graphics........I.E. the playstation on whole)
give a decent answer and you win a prize
oh another thing.....played GT3 today...i actually liked it...probably cos i was in my fav car (Dodge viper), but he fact remained it still look like it had jagged edges in places....doint get me wrong the graphics are quite nice, but the only game to my knoledge which has been succesfully anti-aliased was tekken tag, and even that was slowed down because of it......the PS2 is hard to develop for...trust me, my friend was beta testing for lionhead studios and he said that the lead programmer was constantly screaming at the PS2 dev kit they were sent cos of its messed up architecture
Sony are nowhere near as good as Nintendo - And THQ made WWF No Mercy!
Nintendo make the Mario/Zelda games etc.
