Just set-up the tournament on the XSN website. It's due to start on the 26th which is this Wednesday, each round will last 2 days to give people time to log their times on each track.

Decided to keep it open to the public just to fill up the places, it's open for 16 players so hopefully we should have a decent amount of people playing. The tracks are as follows...

Round 1
Great Britain - Northwest 1
Race type : Rally
Car class : Rally 1

Round 2
Argentina - Cumbre Montegranito
Race Type : Hill climb
Car class : Hill Climb 1

Round 3
Sweden - Berga
Race Type : Rally
Car Class : Rally 1

Round 4
USA - Mesa Roja Ridge
Race Type : Hill Climb
Car Class : Hill Climb 1

Round 5
Monte Carlo - Claremont I
Race Type : Rally
Car class : Rally 1

To get registered you need to go to the XSN Sports website and register you gamertag, the you need to go to the Rallisport 2 section and look for a competitions called SR CHAMPIONSHIP and enter.
Then it gives you a password for the compo and you just enter that and the name of the competition on your Xbox.

It's very simple but if you need any help then just give me a shout. Oh and check out the freaky dog things in a leighby on the Monte Carlo track...at least I think they're dogs.

the Xbox Live ones (well you have to connect to live then press B to go back to main menu and look on there), your ranked 2,5xx compared to my 12,000th :)

Don't know if your all aware but overall points scoring is NOT done like PGR2, basically it takes your best time for each of the 80+ tracks, awards a point value to that time (based on how quick it is) and totals up your points for all tracks, however you have to have the track unlocked in career mode for the score to be saved (and included on the leaderboard) and the time must be set on a Live race (not XSN) hope that's as clear as mud :)

I think it was something like 3:46.057 or something. Definitely in the 3:46's - can't believe I did it! In the Hyundai Accent too :D

Do you mean the Xbox live leaderboards by the way? I.e. not the XSN one? If so, that's great :)

Once you return to lobby your times are uploaded but do take upto an hour to show on XSN, what time did you get Rob ? your doing well on the overall points leaderboard by the way, you must have times submitted for virtually all tracks by now.

Post before Bullet's - You cannot alter settings for XSN races, just manual or auto gears, can't see manual gears making that much difference to be honest, try making a note of you split times (shown when you finish the stage) and try and be up on those each time - or if you miles down, quit and start again.

Help! How do I submit my score? Will it do it once I return to Lobby?

I just got the fastest time so far and I don't want to lose it!

I only unlocked the first track yesterday and then my girlfriend came round (curses!) so I never got a chance to practice it. I had a couple of runs this morning, not on Live, and my time was way worse than 3:53, using the Ford Focus Air Reserve. I'm probably just crap but I wanted to ask if people were using manual gears and doing the tuning stuff? I had a quick go with manual gears and it seemed to make a big difference if you got a corner right...but I only seem to get about 1 in 10 right, sob sob.

updates can be anything between 5 mins and an hour so no leaving your best times 'til the last 10 mins chaps :)
Will give this a serious shot tonight.

No it's just like single player time trials, keep trying and trying and XSN takes your best time. (You can also race multiplayer by inviting friends if you want).
