Just set-up the tournament on the XSN website. It's due to start on the 26th which is this Wednesday, each round will last 2 days to give people time to log their times on each track.

Decided to keep it open to the public just to fill up the places, it's open for 16 players so hopefully we should have a decent amount of people playing. The tracks are as follows...

Round 1
Great Britain - Northwest 1
Race type : Rally
Car class : Rally 1

Round 2
Argentina - Cumbre Montegranito
Race Type : Hill climb
Car class : Hill Climb 1

Round 3
Sweden - Berga
Race Type : Rally
Car Class : Rally 1

Round 4
USA - Mesa Roja Ridge
Race Type : Hill Climb
Car Class : Hill Climb 1

Round 5
Monte Carlo - Claremont I
Race Type : Rally
Car class : Rally 1

To get registered you need to go to the XSN Sports website and register you gamertag, the you need to go to the Rallisport 2 section and look for a competitions called SR CHAMPIONSHIP and enter.
Then it gives you a password for the compo and you just enter that and the name of the competition on your Xbox.

It's very simple but if you need any help then just give me a shout. Oh and check out the freaky dog things in a leighby on the Monte Carlo track...at least I think they're dogs.

No, I'm sure it's the final split - definitely this track, but once I pass it I always check the split time, which has ranged from 3:12 to 3:20. It's at this point when (without thinking) I jump to my feet and seem to get closer to the screen while I desperately try not to screw up :D

In actual fact though, on my 3:46 run, I actually did screw up a little on the last bit. You know where you take that left down the field, then a square right to go between those fences before righting onto the Tarmac? Well I overshot the turn and ended up on the other side of the fence! Luckily it stopped just before the tarmac and I manage to throw the car round safely and carry on :)

EDIT - I'll check when I get home to see if it is definitely the final split or not.

My final split is 2.55.916, you must be thinking of another track or have found a shortcut in the last section :) (last section takes 48 seconds on a good run)

I'll have a proper go tonight. Had a couple of runs late last night and managed 3:50, not quite sure I'll manage 3:43 though.

The first hair pin bend and that bridge are the bits I loose time on, oh and there's another hairpin that sometimes I do quickly and others I just fly off in some crazy ass direction.

Ah thanks. I thought each round went for one day!

That is my most hated section on that stage. If you turn too much coming toward it, it's near impossible to swing the car back round to the right. Also, I think it's a third in, the left hairpin into the gravel/mud. I think it's like a '1 right' then the hairpin, which also dips down. Sometimes I simply overshoot it and end up in the little ditch!

I'll try, I only really take notice of the final split time - where I'm getting around 3:17/3:18.

each round runs for 2 days, so with time difference you have until about 6am Friday before the start of round 2.

My run was almost spot on, I find the hardest bit the hairpin right (after the fence) about 20 seconds into the stage.

If pushed I think I could knock 2 seconds off but it would probably take 2 hours to get that perfect run - time I don't have.

Good luck, will post my split times tomorrow for you to compare (if you write them down :))

Round 1 is over now, isn't it?

If it's still open, I've got all night tonight to have a bash, although it's doubtful I'll beat 3:43! When I achieved 3:46, I did screw up a little, twice. Maybe if I can iron those mistakes out, I could be in with a chance :)
