slik !_!
its the 3rd party developers that help the console survive thats why the N64 didnt do prticulary well over hear (although i heard it was very popular in the US)
the N64 didnt have much 3rd party backing and thats why very few games came out, it was mainly RARE ninteno and acclaim that did stuff for it, plus the odd one here and there.....
as much as i am a fan of nintendo he has a point. although im not dismissing that sony do it too..mind you all consoles do it....in my mind re-hashes are perfectly fine until a new concept comes out, as long as the the re-hash is good......i personally didnt like what nintendo did with mariokart for the N64, id rather play on my copy that the re-hash....one reason im witing a cople of months after both of the new consoles are released to see what my options are....nintendo do make fun games and i still have my trusty SNES, and i will not sell, as with my dreamcast
i dont agree with what you said about 3rd party developers..i always trust in capcom (THE KINGS OF RE-HASHERS!!!!!!!!), and yes lay into them all you will but i firmly believe that they make exellent and fun games past, present and future!
my main interest in the Xboxes corner is Halo.....but frankly im begining to think it is starting to look slightly dated, as theyve spent ages on the dam thing, but i suppose Black and White took 3 years and that looks pretty special (my friend did Beta testing for lionhead).
there are a few titles that catch my eye for the Gamecube too, but as i said im waiting rather than be the first to own one.....come to think of it ive never really bought a console until about 6 months after their release.........just want to make sure that im not wasting money i suppose!
