Note that we don't own SpecialReserve.com (it's in USA hands) and we don't own SpecialReserve.co.uk as it was registered by the bloke who runs Computer Exchange to stop us getting it.

Hmmm, which one will I choose.
SpecialReserve.net sounds good to me.

I vote for - Special Direct.


My reason is that Gaming is all about Now and the Future, not really about the past, especially the retail side of things.

Special Direct seems so much more up-to-date! It may not sound right because we're used to Special Reserve, but it is the best thing.

You'll need to keep the sub-sites though, right?!

GAME

I like SRDN.com because it takes very little time to type.

The name of the company is irrespective to the product. So changing the name of the store will not encourage more sales. What will boost sales is an effective advertising strategy (as you may have guessed by now I don't think much of SR's but it's a tried and tested formula.), purchase security, keeping customers informed and making sure that people buy what they want and not what you think they want. If your investors want you to change a 13 year old name, they are throwing you into a pit of uncertainty, but just ask them, what does the name pepsi have in common with cola?? It is a defining brand in that product? Why? Effective advertising!!

SRDN = sardine selling company

Red Splat = Tomato sauce website

SpecialDirect.com doesn't have the same ring to it although the .com instead of .net is better.
