Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Would have got a 9 but it did feel a bit disjointed in certain areas, though I think they've had to make it that way to keep it faithful to the book.

Lovely stuff, been a long while since I read it, and I'm pretty sure they missed some chunks of the story out, but really impressed on the whole, they managed to capture the mood pretty well, never thought they'd pull it off, and Reeves didn't play a bad part on the whole.

Special mention for the visual style of the movie too, loved it.

Music and Lyrics, apart from the screaming kids in the back row (me and friends) a very enjoyable film :D 8/10

WARNING: Contains romance, not enough for young children to notice, but it's still there!

Better than I expected, although not as good as the Scary Movies :) 7/10

The Last King of Scotland

Very very good, go see it.

A film about a film screenplay about a book about a journalist and a guy who loves Orchids. Difficult to keep up with at times and something that probably needs to be watched more than once but pretty good and it made me laugh in parts.
His brother writing a book about someone with split-personality disorder who is playing all 3 roles in the same kidnap (Murderer/victim and cop) was just great.

It had a feel of 28 days later to me. Probably the post-apocalyptic stlyed London setting. It had some great visual moments and some shocking parts too.

Rocky Babloa
Cant dis Rocky, the best films in the world and this has a great story, but does fray in bits like when he buys an old dog (to show old is better than young) Stallone is trying to show the point but not very sucsessfully. Not enough of the fight either. But the film is watchable a hundred times over
