Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

I thought Spiderman 3 was pretty good...altho MJ doesnt look as good as she used to!

Comfortably the worst of the three so far, huge disappointment.

So you take one of the best villians in any comic ever and give him 10 minutes in a 140 minute film, before seemingly killing him off so he cant come back in a better film? * Shakes head *
It didnt even have the now obligatory "MJ gets needlessly soaked from head-to-toe for the boys" scene.
Very disappointing.

To add to this. I was trying to explain to my friend why this was better than most of the Friday 13th's and summed it up as 'Whereas Jason walks about after people with a knife around a lake/cabins and occasionally get's set on fire, maniac cop will be on fire, driving a car chasing some people and shooting at them.'

So much better. :D

Zombie Island Massacre -

Watched it for a bit - no zombies. Bad Troma, bad!

Love and Sex - mildy interesting until poorly done gooey pregnant rubbish and sadness which throws it into the lower levels of 'chick flick' obscurity. Turned it off also.

Shredder - Stupid horror about a killer skier going after snowboarders, not nearly as bad as it sounds. Not amazing but something reasonable to watch in the background whilst doing something else.
