Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift

Its rubbish really. The story is pathetic and the set pieces are unbelievable (the Japanese Yakuza settling a problem with some punk kid by having a car race? I dont think so), but the only reason you would go to see this film is for the cars anyway and the races all look great. It was as fun to watch as the other two, possibly even better than #2 and there is a nice surprise at the end for fans of the series.

If you are wanting some great acting, a heart wrentching story and some brilliantly detailed drama, then this isnt for you. If you want Japanese girls in short skirts driving customised sports cars then I think you'll love it.

Watched Hitchcock last night, thought it was very good.

I recently watched the South Park movie again and was literally crying with laughter!

The basic storyline is an ancient prophecy comes true and raises the devil and the kids have to defeat him, there are loads of great songs in there which I can't mention the title of on here, and of course a lot of X-Rated stuff but it'll have you in stitches from beginning to end!

Loved it. I love how the actors/actresses all play more than one part. At least 3 each. Really enjoyed it and some rather unsettling scenes.

Watching it tonight.

Last film I watched was Star Trek. Surprised to enjoy it as I hate Star Trek with a vengeance. 7/10

I can see why Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress, she's a lovable character.

I thought Scarface was alright myself, not seen it in ages though. Once Upon A Time In America was very good but it was extremely long, it was a bit like watching a mini series in one go. Again not seen that in ages either but do recall enjoying it at the time. I have a copy of an Italian film Romanzo Criminale (possibly not spelled that correctly) which I've been meaning to watch for ages, apparently it was later remade into a TV series which I'm told was nowhere near as good, think it's based loosely on a true story. Infernal Affairs was one of my favourite mob type films of recent years, much preferred it to Scorsese's Oscar winning rehash.

I have American Beauty and Stand By Me on itunes but never watched them, I think I will now. Been super tempted to buy The Godfather Part 2 and have been waiting for a deal on 12 Angry Men.

Saw The Birds recently. Loved it! Kinda makes me want to watch Jaws now.

I've been enjoying the mob movies recently. Does anyone recommend Scarface?
