I actually thought that it would be technically better than the PS2, boy was I wrong!!!

Hands up how many Nintendo fans tried to s**g off the PS2 for only having 4Mb of embedded VRAM for the Graphics synthesiser chip. Come on now don't be shy, oh well all of you may be interested enough to here that in an official interview on Gamespot ATI's VP of engineering announced that the Gamecube only has 3Mb of embedded VRAM, and it is no where near as fast as the PS2's DRDRAM, which runs at 800mghz and allows a much higher bandwidth in and out of the chip!!

Shame on you all, now apologize to Bonus, then go read the full interview at the address below!!

Er-no, you are the weakest link goodbye. A DVD-RAM copier uses things which look like big Zip discs to store the data, I think what you meant was DVD-R drives, and even then they would be able to copy onto the smaller discs. The only reason the bigger discs aren't compatible with the GC is simply because they wont fit, a smaller disc will fit into a DVD reader, and someone will make DVDs the same size as Ninty's to let people copy the discs, don't be so niave!!

Check out Resident Evil 2 on the 64 for a prime example of this. Nothing is solid and everything seems to be blured into the thing directly next to it.

FM, there are more topclass games on the N64 than the PS!

That is true!

These are the list of my GC games i will (if they come out at launch) DEFINATLY as a launch title get not the only ones though...

Zelda, Luigi's masion, Smash brothers, Pikmin, Eternal Darkness, Donkey Kong racing

Notice how there is only 1 adult game there! now i could of picked Metroid, Raven Blade, resident Evil 0 etc... but i choose more cildish games over them , and why? Because i like them better!

I do have something against games for pre-teens

So you shouldn't have a problem with any Nintendo games except one or 2 like Mario Party and Golf.

All the Gamecube ones were not like this. They were cartoony but not childish.

Now lets reveal the REAL reason why FM hates Nintendo.

When he was my age, back in the eighty's, the Master System came out and was great but generally failed due to Nintendo's strangle hold on the games market.

FM has never forgiven them for it...

Well, I made all this up but it is something along those lines.
FM will have to overcome this hatred if his sons get into multiplayer games though... :-)

95% of PS games had blocky graphics.

I prefer muddy ones to blocky ones.

Besides, the better devellopers managed to make the games look smooth without being muddy.

As for all these tech details about the Gamecube, Bonus, I can't imagine where you dig them up :-)

The reason the N64 had muddy graphics was that it used a serious amount of full screen anti-aliasing. What this means to all those who don't know is, the console blurred the entire picture so that it didn't show up any graphical glitches or jagged edges. This is one reason I am glad that the PS2 has jagged edges whilst they are trying to figure out a good way to do this. The Gamecube also suffers a big hit to performance when running anti-aliasing, as the guy from ATI said in that article, but it runs at a higher resolution so it will be less noticeable anayway.
