After I stumbled upon Games GAD i found it quite amusing, but also was worried that it may cause some untruthful GAD attempts from all corners. What have I uncovered, a seedy trail of GAD winners who I do not believe for a second have the articulate prowess to write a proper sentence never minad a coherent argument or review!!!
Kermitboy, sorry to do this but, I think SR may wish to read this review http://www.gamezone.com/ gamesell/p11761.htm. You may find it is word for word exactly the same as Kermitboy's!!! Casa Nova has also written a good review of Extermination, but again I am highly suspicious and if anyone knows where the original can be found, post it.
I am all for the freedom of speech etc. but I am not willing to sit back and watch decent articles written by the likes of DAN2K1, not win because of people blatantly cheating. I know Game didn't do this, and SR made the mistake on that one, but the reviews are beyond the joke. Just read a few of them, especially by newbies and very few are capable of such a professional standard!!
I am shocked and appauled that such a decent scheme is being so blatanty ripped off by these vultures and I am quite sure SR will feel the same. Decent honest people put hours into writing really good posts and thene inarticulate wasters come along and use the copy and paste function to get a free game!!!
I am truely disheartened!!!
Bonus. :(
Maybe an unbiased panel could be made up of some of the people here to judge the winner.
SR could also threaten them with IP bans so that they can't visit the Gameday section of the site again.
I did cheat a few times, just around when CBFD was released. I copy + pasted about 3-5 reviews. None of them won - justice had preveiled. Then, when I actually writ something of my own, it won.
So dont cheat.
We did manage to overturn the Cheat thing.

So we can't win for putting cheats in?!

Damn thats good. I got 63/64 or something for business coursework if we're on to idle boasts. ;-)
Anyway, I can't see any way that this cheating can be solved other than checking GAD wins carefully before selecting. I mean, people on this forum e.g. Bonus and Dan2K1 only check for cheats after reading an obviously professionly written post so why couldn't this be taken in to account by the GAD selectors.
If a post seems to be professionly written and edited then it probably is. I have been suspicious of winning posts but have not said anything as I have not found any prove. However when a review says things like "the version we are reviewing here is Japanese" it triggers some suspicion. If an individual had written it, it would say "I am reviewing the Japanese version" wouldn't it?
We didn't have

You are a monkey in my new story.... well your sole is entered into a monkeys body!
:P
The problem with searching through every review is that there are so many review sites!!! What we could do is assign a member who is willing (staff, notable, regula, newbie alike) one site to look at, the staff e-mail them and say, we think this review deserves to win, go and look on your assigned site to see if it has been copied. Once all of the moderators (or whatever we call them, gaderator??) have returned with their findings, the person is either awarded the GAD or punished!!
