in a few years when all the new consoles are out. Will you go out and buy an xbox 2 or will you be swayed by sony or nintendos offerings?
PS3, GC2 or xbox 2. This is the question. I suppose I will pick the console thats the most powerful and has the best games. This will quite probably be the xbox 2. But ps2 fanboys are claiming that the ps3 is going to have more power than xbox2. So how will Gc2 fare in this hard market? Their may not even be a GC2. I mean, sales of GC aren't great at the moment so will their be any point in nintendo releasing another console, possibly losing alot of money. They already have a strong grip over the handheld market, but again this could all change. Sonys new psp could dominate and nintendo may just completely go bust. So what are everyones views on this?

I'll most likely have both Nintendo and Microsoft's offerings whilst Sony's PS3 and PSP are ignored.

What's the point in second-guessing future videogaming power-struggles?

Just wait til they are released, see what excellent games are brought out for these new consoles, then make your decision then.

Exactly.

Consider the console you have now, not the one you could be playing in a few years time :)

I've made better releases than Nintendo, but that new Zelda game and Resi Evil 4 look amazing. You do realise you're predicting 3-4 years into the future, don't you? We'll probably have small announcements over the next few years, then a demo at some conference or other, with a rough design that's bound to change, then it'll be released at a vastly over-priced...er...price, before finally coming down to something I'd consider affordable by about 2008.

I think Nintendo are releasing something, The N5 I think it's code-named.

I'll be getting an Xbox 2.
