I've been thinking lately that its a shame that some of the games that we hear so much about never make it past the early developmental stages, or that they never grace our sunny skys.
Thrill Kill(Playstation) was one such game, banned in the UK due to its violent and disturbing fighting content.
I was also a bit gutted that NFLBlitz never made a UK appearance on my N64.
Another game that never made it was Saboteur a game that was suppossed to be released by Eidos in October of 1999, I was looking forward to this game as it was suppossed to mix the best elements of TombRaider with the classic megadrive game Shadow Dancer. For those of you unfamiliar with Shadow Dancer it was the first arcade game to bring us sword fighting ninja style action with a pet dog! Ah the thrill of seeing your dog fighting your enemys for you when you just cant be bothered.
The list continues, the N64 has had a fair few games stolen from its release schedule of late although hopefully they'll appear on the GameCube.
So what games were you all looking forward, that never quite made it???

Yes Ive seen that the sequels to the playstation game Onimusha have been planned for the Playstation2 and the X-box, which is good news.
I can remember something about ResidentEvil 1.5, a pitty that it never got released. Perhaps Capcom could consider releasing a Japanese classics collection over here with ResidentEvil 1.5 and Onimusha. Ild buy it :-)

When I was little I was really looking forward to Space Jam on the PSX, but it didn't quite make, and to this day I still wonder why??? :)

Thrill Kill is everywhere, it's never been offically released but there is so many pirate copies around that they almost called it one. Although there is a game that copied the idea some band or sommin i never really checked it out but thrill kill even has it's own preloaded xplorer codes on the CD version.
The only game that really bothered me about not been released is Resident Evil 1.5. this game is not a beta version of Resident evil 2, It's a completly different game that was near finished when it was scrapped due to someone leaving and it played too much like the original (like that's bad). they used a few things from RE1.5 and made Resident Evil 2.
When Resident Evil DC was released in Japan it came a separate CD with videos and pictures of 1.5, Everyone begged for it's release (including me later on) and succesfull petitions haven't even been looked at by Capcom and we've recived pretty much NO feedback on it but the most common thing asked on resident evil web sites in where is RE1.5.
They could release it as a big demo if they don't want to finish it or make it an alternitive version to RE2 or a director's cut there's so many ways to release it but i don't think everyone'e annoyed at it not being released well extremly disspointed but i think capcom not responding to anyone at all is just off.

It's coming out on the PS2. I've got a vid.
On the movie TombRaider, I think it will be a good film, maybe not great but at least average. It was the number one film in America last weekend and made $35 million dollars last weekend. From what I can tell Jolie has done a good job.

I personnally think that cooooldude will never ever reach 10000 words. Even once he has made 500 posts.
The game I was looking forward to was Mother 3. 7 years and waiting (I think). At least something like that. I yearn for the Pychic powers and a T-Ball bat. Oh yeah and a Yo-Yo.
