I've been thinking lately that its a shame that some of the games that we hear so much about never make it past the early developmental stages, or that they never grace our sunny skys.

Thrill Kill(Playstation) was one such game, banned in the UK due to its violent and disturbing fighting content.

I was also a bit gutted that NFLBlitz never made a UK appearance on my N64.

Another game that never made it was Saboteur a game that was suppossed to be released by Eidos in October of 1999, I was looking forward to this game as it was suppossed to mix the best elements of TombRaider with the classic megadrive game Shadow Dancer. For those of you unfamiliar with Shadow Dancer it was the first arcade game to bring us sword fighting ninja style action with a pet dog! Ah the thrill of seeing your dog fighting your enemys for you when you just cant be bothered.

The list continues, the N64 has had a fair few games stolen from its release schedule of late although hopefully they'll appear on the GameCube.

So what games were you all looking forward, that never quite made it???

In reply to Armitage Shanks, Im not sure if its an update of the Spectrum version of Saboteur (As Im not familiar with the original), all I know was that Tigon software were making this game and it was suppossed to be published by Eidos. However it seems to have dissapeared completely.

The only thing we can hope for is a new Shinobi with Dog game to be released by Sega. Return of the Shadow Dancer! I can dream :-)

Bonus, you lucky devil you!

Thrill Kill is a four player fighting game on the Playstation, however it was banned due to its violent content. Thus I've never played it, all I can do is hope its released some day. The makers did develop another fighting game Wu Tang Taste the Pain based on its game engine, but its not as violent :-(
