Thrill Kill(Playstation) was one such game, banned in the UK due to its violent and disturbing fighting content.
I was also a bit gutted that NFLBlitz never made a UK appearance on my N64.
Another game that never made it was Saboteur a game that was suppossed to be released by Eidos in October of 1999, I was looking forward to this game as it was suppossed to mix the best elements of TombRaider with the classic megadrive game Shadow Dancer. For those of you unfamiliar with Shadow Dancer it was the first arcade game to bring us sword fighting ninja style action with a pet dog! Ah the thrill of seeing your dog fighting your enemys for you when you just cant be bothered.
The list continues, the N64 has had a fair few games stolen from its release schedule of late although hopefully they'll appear on the GameCube.
So what games were you all looking forward, that never quite made it???
Whatever the truth is Im sure the game would have been a laugh, although from the screenshots I saw it looks as if yould have to be pretty perverted to buy it.
I've literally just had a call from SR asking me what I wanted to change my first win to becuase IJATIM's ben discontinued. Wonder why...
I chose Excitebike 64 instead :-D
Produced by Sensible Studios (the guys behind sensible soccer!!). The game contained explicit images of a sexual nature and of taking drugs, but because of this, no publishers would touch the game. SS had put all of their resources behind the game, and by getting no return, couldn't afford to do anything else, shame really!!
