Got it through the post this morning from a...friend.

Only had one match on it so far, but first impressions of it are...great. Graphics look superb, the gameplay feels so much more fluid. One of the downfalls of the last game was it felt too structured and all the players movements were all the same, with the ball physics being the same for every player, like controlling the ball for example. This time it just seems that its less predictable.

I'll put some more of my thoughts in here later, as im off to the Wednesday game now.

Anyone else played it? Whats your thoughts on it?

So what tricks are there in WE8?

3 things.

1) My PES3 game or something has buggered up, cos the players keep doing things we don't tell them to.

Therefore this thread distresses me alot because PES4 isn't out yet.

2) My friend can do this cool trick on PES3 where he treads on the ball one footed and slowly hops backwards. He swears it's fluke, but I haven't seen how to do it on any website.

3) Argh. I still don't have the game since the time of point 1.

Stop running. R2 and a direction. Then just hold the directional pad the opposite way from where you're facing.

Oh dear, players still don't have arm shadows.

Cheers AJ. I'll check it out. Sounds about right. I can thrash him without it, but I've seen him use it in a way i could tweak to make it awesome.
